Ever lost a luggage? PLS READ!

Mon Jul 28, 2008, 8:44 AM
Sorry I've been away for a while but I just came from Milton Keynes, England with my parents. I had so much fun! Everyday shopping and shopping and more shopping. Everthing was going well...until...as soon as we arrived back to Malta from Heathrow, things started to look miserable. From 2 luggages that we carried on our holiday, only one arrived! and to make things even worse, the luggage which still hasn't arrived has the most things that we carried! TT PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS EVER HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE, PLEASE TELL ME IF YOUR LUGGAGE CAME BACK OR NOT TT PLEASE! THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME AND I'LL WON'T STOP WORRYING UNTIL THAT LUGGAGE COMES BACK! TT

UPDATE:The luggage has a huge possibility that it is till in Heathrow since it was very heavy. I'll update as soon as possible once I get more news.

We have to wait till tomorrow. But I don't want money, i want the luggage back ASAP.
The thing is, not only does the luggage have the tag they do to where the luggage should be going but it also has another tag which has our address of out house in Malta. I can't understand why it didn't come! Now were all the time seeing if the luggage has come whenever a flight from Heathrow arrives in Malta.
Hey hey hey I work at the airport (customer services though, not with the airlines. The airlines are responsible for the luggages) and I can tell you that a good 99% majority of luggages do find their owners eventually :)

All the stories I heard of lost luggages all had their lugagges returned back but their taking a long time to trace the luggage. I came up with three possibilities to where the luggage:
1. The luggage is still in Heathrow and they forgot to store the luggage in the plane.
2. The luggage went to Amsterdam since it happened that at 21:00, the time the plane departed to Malta, there was also a flight to Amsterdam.
3. The luggage went to Italy since the branch we went to distribute the luggage to was actually a representative of Alitalia and not of Airmalta. Plus when we phoned to see if the luggage arrived, they told us that Alitalia is responsible for the flight Heathrow-Malta.
4. The worst one. Someone ,might have taken our luggage by mistake.
we just phoned the insurance and they told us that we can't get any money after 21 days. I'm hopin to get the luggage back ASAP.
4 is remote but possible.
